U-20: Rwanda kick off campaign in style |

 Rwanda has defeated Mali 2-1 in the opener of the African Youth Championship held at Amahoro stadium. Jean Mugiraneza snatched a header for Rwanda on the seventh minute of the game but Mali Sow Samba snatched an equalizer to level the goal tally on the 26th minute.
Elias Uzamukunda scored the winner on 61st minute of the match to hand Rwanda her first victory of the championship. In the other game, Cameroon’s Zoua Daogari Jacques has scored for the junior Lions on the first minute of the game. But Ghana's Dede Ayew heads an equalizer for the Black Satellites on the 37th minute. |
